Educational Battersea Dogs & Cats Home We aim never to turn away a dog or cat in need of help. We reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when we can’t do this, we care for them until new homes can be found for them; and we educate the public about responsible pet ownership.
Kidney failure is one of the most common health problems suffered by cats, particularly as they grow older. But there have been a number of exciting scientific developments in recent years and there are now ways of slowing the progression of the disease. Perhaps more importantly, new treatments can significantly improve the quality of life for a loved pet suffering from kidney failure.
It made sense. In fact, it made perfect sense. Why hadn't I ever heard of it before? No cat owner I ever knew had ever mentioned it. No vet had ever mentioned it. I had never questioned what I "knew." Since when did carnivores start eating grain? I talked to people; they all fed their cats dry food. They had never heard of raw feeding. You can't choose a better way if you don't even know it exists. I was going to have to do something about this.

There are many opinions about how to manage the estimated 50 million feral and stray cats, also known as community cats, in the United States. Understanding this complex and emotional issue is essential to combating cat overpopulation.
Cat Chat is a web-based Charity, currently finding loving, permanent homes for over 5,000 unwanted and abandoned cats every year from rescue shelters across the UK through our ‘Virtual Cat Shelters’. Our homing services are given free of charge to all kinds of rescue groups, large and small, from the many hundreds of independent rescue centres and rehoming groups to branches of the larger organisations.
What is toxoplasmosis? Toxoplasmosis is a disease caused by a single-celled parasite called Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii). Toxoplasmosis is one of the most common parasitic diseases and has been found in nearly all warm-blooded animals, including pets and humans. Despite the high prevalence of T. gondii infection, the parasite rarely causes significant clinical disease in cats-or any species.
Lee County Domestic Animal Services The Animal Care Trust Fund was established in 2002 to assist homeless, abused and neglected animals. The Trust provides funds for direct assistance and programs to improve animal care and welfare.
National Center for Homeopathy The National Center for Homeopathy is an open-membership organization whose mission is to promote health through homeopathy. By providing general education to the public about homeopathy, and specific education to homeopaths, we help to make homeopathy available throughout the United States.
